Tech Mahindra expands its footprint in Turkey and Central Asia!

Tech Mahindra Limited, a specialist provider of solutions and services to the telecommunications industry, today announced the launch of its new branch in Istanbul. The branch will serve as a hub for Turkey and Central Asia.

Tech Mahindra aims to bank on the young and cosmopolitan population of Turkey and provide specialized services to its customer from this near shore centre. The country is at a very vantage position because of its geographical position as a hub between Europe and Middle East. Tech Mahindra aims to develop the Turkey as the near-shore centre for projects.

Tech Mahindra recently won a billing solution implementation contract for a large Telco.

“Turkey is on a growth trajectory and we at tech Mahindra are very keen to be part of this journey. We look forward to the support from local Government as we grow our footprint in the region. As a part of our journey in Turkey, we aim to recruit local resources and train them to support Tech Mahindra services over the years to come” said Girish Bhat, Vice President Sales, Tech Mahindra

The Turkish government targets the ICT sector to be around $160 Billion in size by 2023, from $30 Billion in 2011. Thus, companies focusing on R&D and innovation are more than welcome and assisted immensely in Turkey.”

Backed by the USD 15.9billion Mahindra Group, we are currently having discussions at various levels to establish partnerships with large organizations and offer world-class ICT solutions. A dedicated Talent Exchange Program for the transfer of skills between India and Turkey will also be initiated in due course of time.
