Huawei, the world’s 4th largest smart-phone maker (IDC, 1Q’13) and the No.1 player in datacards in India along with its partner Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, today announced a new exciting offer for the people of Delhi NCR. As part of the joint offer, the passengers of EasyCabs in the region can enjoy a high-speed online Airtel 3G experience while on-the-move and at no charge, on Huawei’s E355 Wi-Fi data card. At present, the passengers in Delhi NCR can avail this offer in 100 EasyCabs. The offer will be valid from June 28 to September 27, 2013 in Delhi NCR.

Huawei has installed its E355 WiFi datacard combined with Airtel 3G high speed internet in 100 EasyCabs in the city offering Wi-Fi Hotspot on the go. With airtel 3G, consumers can download movies, watch videos, watch live TV, make video calls, access high speed internet and enjoy seamless live streaming. With high download speeds, Huawei E355 comes with plug and play feature and offers the most cost effective Wi-Fi hotspot solution. Huawei E355 supports WiFi creation in different scenarios – regular USB modem plugged into laptops, plugged into wall power mains and in car chargers. Upon using a password provided to commuters, they will be able to access the web on any internet-enabled device during their travel journey. Wi-Fi Hotspot in a taxi will be a perfect offering for people on the go and will be useful for family and corporate groups traveling together.
Huawei has partnered with Flipkart to make the product available in more than 200 cities and towns across India. Customers can also buy Huawei E355 datacard from multiple online channels like Flipkart, Homeshop18, Snapdeal, Tradus and offline stores across India in IT stores and multi-brand mobile stores. The Huawei dongle will also be available at select Airtel retail stores.
