Momac, a leading provider of customer engagement interface solutions for mobile operators, this week launched a mobile portal and content storefront services Nextel de Mexico, an NII Holdings (NASDAQ: NIHD) mobile service provider. NII will use Momac’s cloud-based platform Mvolve to create and manage advanced multi-device mobile portals for 2G and 3G customers.
Momac CEO Sham Careem explains the partnership with NII as significant to Momac’s focus on both emerging and mature markets outside of Europe.

Mvolve is an advanced mobile platform that uniquely allows operators to build intelligent mobile interfaces across portals and applications, and leverage mobile subscriber data to enhance overall customer engagement. By incorporating features like self-service, personalised content and social media integration, mobile operators are able to remain relevant to their subscribers. Mvolve business intelligence can be leveraged to cross and up sell data services, call plans and handsets, therefore improving ARPU and customer retention.
Mvolve will power Nextel Station a content storefront available to Nextel de Mexico customers for the purchase and deliver of a broad array of multi-media services from games, wallpaper and ringtones to music and video services. Mvolve also provides Nextel’s operator portal for access to the mobile web. Momac designed and delivered the mobile web experience, and Mvolve provides the web tools to allow Nextel personnel to manage the overall experience.
