Huawei rolls out massive marketing campaign in 45 countries- To create brand awareness of Huawei devices globally!

Huawei AscendDemonstrating Huawei’s commitment to put customers at the core of what the company does, Huawei ‘Ascend to New Heights’, a large-scale global consumer marketing campaign was rolled out in 45 countries. The campaign created significant buzz amongst consumers and boosted its brand awareness to a new high. Today marks the celebratory culmination of the campaign, where Huawei gathered grand winners from around the world in Dubai for a gala event. Kicking off to a great start to 2013,many winners expressed their delight at receiving their best gift from Huawei.

 

“The ‘Ascend to New Heights’ campaign marks a significant milestone for Huawei Device and is demonstrative of our transformation into the consumer space,” said Jacky Li, Global Retail Marketing Director, Huawei Device. “This is the first time for Huawei to have rolled out such a large-scale campaign around the world targeting millions of consumers in 45 countries and territories. We are thrilled with the overwhelming response from the participants. At Huawei, we continue to be focused on building one of the world’s favorite consumer brand, for our consumers to enjoy the best experience brought by intelligent devices that is synonymous with putting great technology within reach of consumers, no matter who they are or what they want from their handset.”

 

The ‘Ascend to New Heights’ campaign began on November 12, 2012 and concludes today, with a gala dinner hosted by Huawei Device in the super-five-star Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai for the grand prize winners who hailed from countries as far and wide as Italy, Norway, Indonesia, Poland and Mexico. The event also kicked off the start of a luxury all-expenses paid three-day trip in the City of Gold, where they will experience a private helicopter ride, Safari Desert camp and a private city tour to explore Dubai’s historical wonders.

 

Huawei received tremendous response from the 150 grand prize winners. Georgiana from Romania described winning the prize as ‘a dream come true.’ Another grand prize winner, Sandra Adriani from Indonesia, was thrilled to have the opportunity to take her very first trip abroad.

 

The ‘Ascend to New Heights’ global promotion campaign reached consumers in over 45 countries, successfully extending awareness of the Huawei Device brand globally. During the course of the campaign, millions of people entered the contest with over 3000 lucky winners selected from around the world, in which 150 were eligible to win the opportunity of trip to Dubai. The contest featured a bevy of exciting onsite and retail activities and an array of exciting prizes.
