Claude Shannon: The Einstein of 'Digital Information'- All you want to know about 'Shannon's Limit'

(Summary: Shannon’s limit is fundamental concept in Information Theory, but requires multidisciplinary understanding to grasp it fully. The limit specifies how much capacity (data rate) any particular channel has under noisy condition. It forms the ‘basis’ of ‘digital age’, where every new generation of technology, we find the ‘Data Rates’ on-air/wire is doubled or even tripled. And this is done by inventing new coding (channel/source) algorithms, by virtue of which, the capacity of channel (Information rate) is enhanced.

By the time you are finished watching this video, you would really appreciate the logic behind such a pioneering innovation, which dictates the ‘BASIS’ of our digital life – Speed/Data Rate/Throughput.)
